Addiction Recovery Ministry
Find Hope. Find Healing. Find Freedom.
NorthStone Baptist Church partners with Freedom That Lasts to offer a Christ-centered pathway for individuals struggling with addiction and life-dominating habits.
Addiction and destructive habits affect millions of people and families. Our Freedom That Lasts ministry provides a welcoming place where individuals can experience biblical truth, supportive community, and practical guidance to pursue lasting change through Christ.

What Is Freedom That Lasts?
Freedom That Lasts is a discipleship-based ministry designed to help individuals overcome addiction and life-dominating struggles through the transforming power of the Gospel.
Rather than focusing only on behavior change, this ministry addresses the deeper spiritual issues behind addiction. Through biblical teaching, caring relationships, and personal discipleship, participants learn how to grow in Christ and walk in genuine freedom.
Freedom That Lasts ministries operate within local churches to help people who are hurting find hope, healing, and restoration.

Our Mission
The Freedom That Lasts ministry at NorthStone Baptist Church exists to:
-
Welcome those struggling with addiction into a supportive Christian community
-
Share the life-changing message of the Gospel
-
Provide biblical guidance and discipleship for lasting transformation
Our goal is not simply sobriety — it is helping individuals experience a restored relationship with God and live a life that honors Him.

Our Approach
Freedom That Lasts follows a simple three-part approach that helps individuals grow spiritually and personally.

A Welcoming Community
People battling addiction often feel isolated or ashamed. Our ministry seeks to create a safe and welcoming environment where individuals are accepted and encouraged as they begin their journey toward freedom.

Gospel-Centered Change
Lasting transformation begins with the message of Jesus Christ. Through Scripture and teaching, participants learn how the Gospel provides hope, forgiveness, and power for change.

Biblical Counseling & Discipleship
Participants receive guidance rooted in Scripture that helps them understand the deeper struggles behind addiction and learn practical ways to pursue Christlike living.
